The proven and probable ore reserves of gold from “Polyus” at the end of 2025 were estimated at 106.8 million ounces, showing a 1.52% year-on-year increase, according to the company’s annual review. According to the provided table, the company’s ore reserves as of December 31 last year amounted to 106.8 million ounces of gold, with an average metal content of 1.7 grams per ton. At the end of 2024, reserves were estimated at 105.2 million ounces of gold, with an average content of 1.8 grams per ton. Thus, ore reserves grew by 1.52% over the year. The company emphasized that 59% of the estimated gold reserves are concentrated at Polyus’s operating assets, while 41% of the estimated reserves are attributed to the Sukhoi Log development project. Meanwhile, the estimated volume of the company’s mineral gold resources decreased by 1.3% compared to 2024, to 212 million ounces. The average metal content remained at 1.6 grams per ton. At the Olimpiada deposit, proven and probable ore reserves decreased by 4% over the year, to 29.5 million ounces of gold, while resources fell by 2%, to 54 million ounces. At Blagodatnoye, reserves increased by 35%, to 15.1 million ounces, while resources decreased by 4%, to 23 million ounces of gold. At the Natalka deposit, ore reserves declined by 6%, to 9 million ounces of gold, and resources decreased by 4%, to 27 million ounces. At Kuranakh, ore reserves dropped by 3%, to 6.9 million ounces, while resources remained at the 2024 level—13 million ounces. At the Verninskoye deposit, ore reserves and resources also remained unchanged compared to the previous 2024 estimate—3.1 million and 15 million ounces of gold, respectively. Gold ore reserves at Sukhoi Log at the end of 2025 saw a slight decrease—down 0.5% year-on-year, to 43.3 million ounces. The resource estimate for the project remained unchanged at 81 million ounces of the precious metal. It was clarified that the changes in the 2025 estimates compared to the previous period were mainly due to the depletion of ore reserves and mineral resources as a result of mining and processing, adjustments to ore stockpile volumes, as well as the use of updated resource models and evaluation criteria at the Blagodatnoye and Kuranakh deposits. Polyus is the largest gold mining company in Russia and one of the six leading global producers. Its main enterprises are located in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Irkutsk and Magadan regions, as well as in Yakutia.
